Timberwolves Offer Free Scrimmage!

With the additions of Sprewell, Sam Cassell, and Mark Madsen, you'd think you'd need a ticket to see these guys live in action.

Well....WRONG! The Timberwolves offered a free scrimmage. Check out pictures from the day and the story.

Tonight, I heard horrible news. David Spedding took his own life on September 23rd. David was Pet Shop Boys fan, writer, TV journalist, and gentleman. I met him through a Pet Shop Boys mailing list. We were acquaintances and it's very sad news.

There are no words to express my sorrow. I wish I could have somehow helped. I have chatted with him and visited his website over the years. It's sad to think that things were so bad he took his own life. Damn, I wish I was a better friend. I wish he had people he could talk to and help him over such a horrible time in life.

If he can hear my thoughts, he knows how I feel saddened by the loss and he knows there are more who miss him than he ever thought.

Rest in peace, David, and may the music play forever!

Welcome to the Ackermans website maintained by Don Ackerman. I haven't take the time to work on the site since October of last year. Honestly, I haven't done anything as exciting as being interviewed by KSTP. I thought I should get back into updating the site. We've been very busy recently and I thought I'd share some recent work.

I've been focusing my energies into photography. I'm hoping to get more "gigs" taking pictures. Last year, I photographed the Snappers, an adult baseball league.
